Tokyo Temples, Sumos, more festival and Ueno Park

The cherry blossoms have just finished in Ueno-onshi-koen Park but it is still pulsating with people.

The park encompasses a vast area west of Ueno Station, with many cultural institutions such as: Ueno Zoo, the first zoo in Japan; Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum; Tokyo Bunka Kaikan (Tokyo Cultural Hall); the National Museum of Western Art; the National Science Museum; and Tokyo National Museum, all offering their visitors recreation and relaxation.

The park was particularly crowded on this Sunday with people gathering to enjoy the open space and many activities on offer.
