Tokyo - Sanja Matsuri Festival 2016

Tokyo is such an unforgettable city with impressive infrastructures modern and traditional juxtapositions, fascinating people and a particularly unique rhythm.  This is our third time to Tokyo and it is always vibrant.  First day in Tokyo we hit the ground running immersing ourselves in the cultural offerings visiting a temple in Asakusa - Sanja Matsuri Festival, Tokyo.

The Sanja Matsuri festival is held in honor of Hinokuma Hamanari, Hinokuma Takenari and Hajino Nakatomo, the three men who established and founded Senso-Ji
