Koyasan - Kongobuji Temple and the Banryutei

Kongobuji Temple is the head temple of Koyasan Shingon Buddhism.  The temple contains many beautiful screen paintings (photography not permitted), an old kitchen and Japan’s largest rock garden, the Banryutei.
