What's for dinner in the Okavango Delta

Camping in the Okavango Delta we came across a pair of lions with a fresh wilderbeast kill.  It is the role of the lioness to bring down the beast as the lion is too obvious with his mane.  Ironically, the lioness puts in the hard yards while the lion has first serve and she is allowed to eat when he permits her to do so.
We were just 3 mtrs from them when the lioness started to test the boundaries and a fight began over the choice serves.  Dust flew into the air as they engaged in their domestic debate and the lion won the battle.

He then decided to sprawl his whole body over the kill and go to sleep protecting the feed.  We were viewing this from our open 4x4 for almost an hour - Totally mesmerising.
