Bushmen of the Kalahari - Namibia

Another cool and crisp Kalahari morning
We took an interesting early morning walk with the bushman (san) in the Kalahari
They shared information regarding their traditional survival skills and secrets from their ancestors.

Arriving at the traditional bushman village, we met the family huddled around the fire and clothed in animal skins for warmth

The bushmen of the Kalahari explained how they used ostrich eggs as storage, the use of indigenous plants for medicinal purposes, lay traps for catching animals.

The bushmen were speaking in their language, a series of clicking sounds, which our guide provided an English translation
